Proctor Application Form
Online and Correspondence students enrolled in our Basic Tax Course who live more than one hours drive from Portland may apply to have their Mid-Term and Final Closed-Book Exams proctored. Proctors must be approved by the School.
If you want to have your Mid-Term or Final Exam proctored, both you and the proctor you select must complete and submit the Proctor Application Form to Pacific Northwest Tax School. Upon approval, Pacific Northwest Tax School will deliver the Closed-Book Mid-Term Exam and/or Final Exam directly to the Proctor. You will take the Exam at the Proctor's location. Upon completion, the Proctor will return the test to the School for grading.

Make-Up Sessions for Classroom Students
Students who are attending our Basic Tax Course in our classroom may make up missed sessions by completing the equivalent session online. Each student may make-up a maximum of 6 missed sessions online.
- To request a makeup session, please complete and submit the Session Make-Up Request Form.
- You will receive a confirmation email and instructions on how to use the LMS.

Online Lesson Plans
Our programs have been designed to follow preset lesson plans. You will benefit most as a student by following these lesson plans. During each live or pre-recorded video lecture, your instructor will ask you to complete specific tasks including:
- Completing session reading assignments
- Participating in/listening to each session's lecture
- Completing classwork assignments
- Completing homework assignments
- Completing quizzes

Joining a Live Webinar Session
Live students must log onto the LMS prior to joining a live instructor-led webinar class. If a live session suddenly ends, you may be invited to log onto our Webex page to rejoin a new session. DO NOT use this log on link unless you were told to do so by our staff.
