Andrew was born and raised in scenic Poulsbo, Washington, across Puget Sound from Seattle. He later moved to Oregon to earn his Master’s in Teaching from Pacific University. After teaching middle school for a number of years, he decided to transition into tax preparation. To prepare for his new path, he studied for and earned both his Enrolled Agent and Licensed Tax Consultant credentials.

Andrew joined the PNW Tax team in 2026, where he assists clients at the front desk and supports tax return preparation. In his free time, he enjoys reading (historical biographies and mysteries are his favorite genres) as well as bird watching. His 2026 highlights include sightings of a cedar waxwing, a pileated woodpecker, and a green heron.
